The Facebook fan page has reached 1,000 fans as of yesterday. To be exact, we are at 1,033 fans. This is extremely exciting! :) Thank you so much for becoming a fan!!! I’ve got a lot of work to do fulfilling contest prizes but it’s definitely all worth it! I’ll be spending some time this coming weekend to package and ship some of the prizes out. Is anyone else watching House of Cards? Chris and I just finished Season 2 yesterday. No spoilers here but that Frank Underwood is quite a guy. I actually despise him and love him at the same time – does that make any sense? I think that’s the whole idea. But I think I despise him more than I love him.

Oh, I just love aviation. These flying machines quite literally make me very happy.

This was from the drive out of Switzerland to Austria. I think I could get used to living a quiet life among the mountains.We have to head out to Pontypool today for menu tastings for the wedding. I’m excited!

…with goals and aspirations and I just keep driving hard at them. This one’s from Rome. I was missing my Euro Trip and dreaming about having all the time and money in the world to just travel. There are so many things I want to do… NOW… TODAY… but don’t have the time and capacity. I’ve taken on A LOT in the last three years, more than my head of hair could handle, but there is still so much I want to do and get done. One thing at a time??? Forget it! Several things at a time and there still isn’t enough time. Anxious for so much more. Traveling (everywhere!!!), growing my business (I’ve never been so addicted to this), continuing to build my career in the amazing field of marketing, finishing Schulich’s amazing MBA program, getting married to my amazing hubby-to-be, buying my first home, building my studio in my first home, and so on. My heart is constantly exploding.

We didn’t book San Fran yet. We are signing up for an AMEX credit card that pretty much pays for the flight to San Fran, so we’re waiting for that to come through. Should be Friday. :) Anything for a bit of savings! I have to do some school work now, ciao.

This Surf Love Set order was sent out yesterday to a lovely customer in England! :) I had to take a photo before packing them up because they looked so pretty. I love this set so much!

I’ve convinced Chris that we should go to San Francisco in April. We are probably booking today. Oh my gosh!! :) If anything can make me lose sight of budgets, it’s travelling. Oops. I’ll sacrifice my hair, clothes, shoes, nails, purses, and whatever other girly materialistic wastes of money… all for travel. I’ll lodge in a tent on the side of the road. Who needs a 5-star hotel?

We are just TWO weeks into the Facebook fan page and contest launch and already at 850 fans. It warms my heart so much. If you haven’t already entered the contest, you can do so here :).

I also forgot to mention that I did an Etsy shop overhaul the other day with the following changes:
1. From now on, there will be an ongoing SALE section offering 25% OFF select prints!
2. There are now SET DISCOUNTS available to save money for those who are ordering multiple prints at a time!
3. Prints are now neatly categorized to make it much easier for you to shop!

Happy Tuesday! My Managerial Accounting class starts tonight… ahhh. It’s going to be a tough course.

It’s a busy time this year and budgets are tight but I’m convincing Chris that we should take a trip to San Francisco in April. I think it’s a GREAT idea. :) No more thinking. Just booking. I’ve waited too long for San Francisco photography.

I have to get ready to meet my makeup artist for a trial today for the wedding so I have to make this quick! I did a little bit of re-branding and designed a new logo for 2014. Hope you like! I’m moving on from Charlene Precious Vintage Photography to Charlene Precious Fine Art Photography. :) The main site has been updated as well. I’ve also submitted a request to Facebook to modify the fan page name. I’ve just learned that after 200 fans, you are not allowed to change the fan page name yourself, understandably. Keeps those impostors in check. Here’s another shot from a little town in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Again, beautiful in a different way.

Here’s my growing list of favourite TV shows: Homeland, Suits, Orange is the New Black, House of Cards, Dexter, The Walking Dead, American Horror Story, The Killing, Luther, Breaking Bad, and Scandal. Homeland is BY FAR my favourite though. It’s too good. I can’t wait for Season 3. The show I tried out that never stuck is… *drumroll*… Sons of Anarchy. Not my cup of tea.

I’ve been struggling with a paper on Bitcoins for the last two days. I’m finally almost done but it has probably been one of the tougher papers I’ve had to write. The topic is a little wild. For those who don’t know, Bitcoin is a digital currency that some believe is the future of currency while others have outright banned it. Here’s how it’s explained “as if you were five”. I know it helped me… ;)

We watched a movie called The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, a movie adopted from a novel about two boys and their friendship during World War II in Nazi Germany. It was a really good movie but also heart-wrenching as you can probably imagine. I recommend it though. After watching films like this, it always scares me to see what horror human beings are capable of, especially under authority. There is so much good in the human race but also so much evil. I really want to talk more about this but the time left to finish my paper is running out, so I’ll come back to it in a future post.

I am so excited to share that I have the opportunity to embark on a rewarding MBA internship with General Mills Canada this summer as an Associate Marketing Manager! And so in lieu of that, I took a quick photo of my General Mills breakfast this morning :). I noticed after the fact that the Fibre 1 box is displaying the French side – oops. Once photos are taken, there is no chance for redemption because I’m so busy nowadays that every second counts; re-taking a photo because it’s not “perfect” is becoming an unproductive use of time, so now, less-than-perfect shots will get just as much loving! Anyway, I digress. The point of my delicious breakfast is to show that it is always an added bonus if you are already a patron/lover of whatever brand/product you market because if you believe in the brand/product or are personally connected to it in some way, then selling and marketing it is second nature. (These may or may not be the brands I’m assigned to but General Mills has a portfolio of amazing brands, most of which can be found in our fridge and kitchen cabinets :)). I’m so excited for the wonderful world of Consumer Packaged Goods and can’t wait for a new challenge and learning curve!

I must get back to midterm mode though, ciao!
